The student and cadet self-government of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the charity event "Gratitude Package" for our defenders, organized by the Promotion Agency "Sumy" together with the NGO "SBB - TYL". The event was held on the occasion of St. Nicholas Day and the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

On the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the cadets of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs put flowers at the memorial sign on the Alley of Heroes and honored the bright memory, courage, strength of spirit, resilience and heroic deeds of the soldiers who gave their lives for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of our country with a minute of silence.

This year, the director of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Serhii Lukash held a traditional meeting with cadets in need of care and guardianship together with the head of the Main Department of the National Police in Sumy region Petro Tokar.

Higher education students of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs traditionally visited Sumy Specialized Children's Home and congratulated the kids on the warm and bright St. Nicholas Day.

As part of the work of the Center for Analytical Writing of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, a regular training on the methodology of conducting scientific research was held on the basis of Sumy Central City Library named after Taras Shevchenko.

As part of the 16 Days Against Violence campaign dedicated to the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, members of the Student Parliament of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs held a conversation with 1st year cadets about barrier-free space in Ukraine.

A team of volunteers from Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the weaving of camouflage nets. In cooperation with the Motorized Hive volunteer center, the guys and girls did a lot of work. This volunteer initiative is of great importance to our military who are defending their homeland.

On the occasion of the International Anti-Corruption Day, a meeting of the section "Problematic Aspects of Ensuring Economic Security of the State" of the scientific student and cadet club of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs "Actual Problems of National Economic Development in the Context of Globalization" was held.
