Adherence to the principle of academic integrity is one of the most important in the performance of student research. Among the reasons for plagiarism, higher education students note the lack of skills in working with primary sources, the inability to cite sources of information when using quotes, ideas, statements, etc.

Andrii Siadrystyi, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, together with Maryna Yezhkun, Regional Coordinator of Public Relations of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights in Sumy Region, conducted a binary lesson for 2nd year full-time students majoring in Law Enforcement on the discipline "Ensuring Human Rights in Law Enforcement".

Students of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with a leading specialist Anna Mititiel visited Sumy Regional Philharmonic, where they watched a concert dedicated to the Day of the City of Sumy.

A meeting with Police Major Artem Bukhtiarov, Senior Inspector on Special Assignments of the Cybercrime Unit in Sumy Region of the Cyber Police Department of the National Police of Ukraine, was organized for students of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs.

Lecturers of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Oleksii Shumilo and Valerii Matus conducted an on-site class on the subjects "Judicial and Law Enforcement Bodies of Ukraine" and "Criminal Procedure". Students attended criminal and civil court hearings.

The Day of Knowledge was celebrated with solemn events at all locations of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Head of Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration Serhii Borzov, Head of the Main Department of the National Police in Vinnytsia Region, Police Colonel Ivan Ishchenko, Rector of the University, Police General of the third rank Valerii Sokurenko congratulated the university cadets on the first day of the new academic year.

The cadets of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continue to help in the manufacture of camouflage equipment for the defenders of Ukraine who are defending our land from the enemy.
