Representatives of Sumy branch of KhNUIA - Roman PROTSENKO, a lecturer at the Department of Special Police Disciplines and Basic Combined-Arms Training, and Daria KULISHENKO, a leading specialist in the group of documentation of official activities, visited a number of SEI in Chernihiv region.

Another optional class of the School of Scientific Leadership of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs was held. The training was conducted by the head of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Candidate of Law, Professor Oleksii SHUMILO.

The Head of the course of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, Serhii TOVSTUKHA, and his deputy, Serhii PANIOTOV, organized an online meeting of education seekers with the graduates of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, 2023, Maksym HOROBTSOV and Vladyslav VLASENKO, who are currently serving in the Safari assault regiment of the Special Purpose Police Department, SAB NPU "Liut". 

Lecturers of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Mykola PIDOIMA, Serhii IVASHYNA and Andrii SIADRYSTYI held a meeting with 11th grade students of Novohaleshchynskyi Lyceum. They introduced the high school students to the specialties that can be obtained at the university, the conditions for admission and the prospects for future employment. 

Daria KULISHENKO, a leading specialist in the documentation of official activities group and responsible for gender issues at Sumy branch of KhNUIA, successfully completed the online course "Agenda "Women, Peace, Security": an online course for representatives of the security sector using the example of the departmental action plan 1325 of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

A 4th-year student of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Ivan BILOKUR, joined the work of the conference, which was held in Kyiv with the support of the Ayn Rand Center Ukraine. The event was dedicated to the study and discussion of the philosophy of objectivism, founded by Ayn RAND.

237 young men and women from all over Sumy region took part in the Ivan ZAKHARUK memory pankration and grappling championship of Sumy region. Vadym POLOVKO, a third-year student of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, demonstrated a high level of skill and became a bronze medalist in the weight category up to 92 kg.

During the lectures and practical classes, independent work, scientists of Sumy branch of KhNUIA Svitlana VYHANIAILO, Oleksii SHUMILO, Olena LUKIANYKHINA and Tetiana PONOMARENKO mastered relevant topics and underwent trainings.

Representatives of Sumy branch of KhNUIA visited Poltava Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training named after Vitalii Hrytsaienko and familiarized young people with the conditions for admission to Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, the features of training under a state order and a contract form, and career prospects in law enforcement agencies.

Lecturers of Sumy branch of KhNUIA Serhii IVASHYNA, Mykola PIDOIMA, Andrii SIADRYSTYI together with Viktoriia HRYTSAIENKO, Senior Inspector of the Selection Sector of the Department of the National Police in Poltava Region, held meetings with students of Poltava Professional Lyceum of the Service Sector and Reshetylivka Lyceum named after I. L. Oliinyk of Reshetylivka City Council.
