The power of the Russian Tsardom was overthrown, the statehood of Ukraine was restored in the form of the Ukrainian People's Republic, local authorities were created, education and culture were Ukrainized, but a new enemy-adversary stood at the borders of Ukraine - Russian Bilshovysm.
