Hanna Yarova, a psychologist at the Human Resources Department of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, took part in a meeting of specialists in psychological services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The first-year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs actively joined the volunteer movement to weave protective equipment for our military.

Oleksii Shumilo, Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, took part in the XII International Scientific and Practical Conference "European Integration of Higher Education of Ukraine in the Context of the Bologna Process: Digitalization and Quality Assurance of Higher Education".

Representatives of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, psychologist of the Human Resources Department Hanna Yarova and leading specialist Hanna Mititiel, took part in the training "Identification and Prevention of Suicidal Behavior" organized by Lifeline Ukraine in cooperation with the International Medical Corps.

Chornobyl accident is a crime of the Soviet system against humans and the environment and at the same time an example of the dedication, sacrifice and heroism of its liquidators, who saved Ukraine and the world from a nuclear disaster. On this day, students at all university locations laid flowers at the monuments to the liquidators of Chornobyl accident and honored the memory of people who overcame the terrible tragedy of the 20th century at the cost of their lives.

The cadets of Sumy branch took part in the training discussion "Clear about NATO", conducted and organized by the Center for Regional Security Studies of Sumy State University. The issues of challenges and opportunities for Ukraine in case of its accession to NATO, development prospects, and the experience of NATO member countries were discussed. Organized into groups, the students discussed the reasons why Ukraine is not ready to join the Alliance.

Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA Tetiana Bilous and higher education applicant Kateryna Oliinyk took part in the XIII International Scientific and Practical Conference "Development trends and improvement of old methods", where they presented a report "The process of interaction between morality and conflicts in society".

Within the framework of career guidance and the All-Ukrainian Law Week, the staff of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch - Head of the Department Oksana Panasiuk, Professor Oleksii Shumilo and Lecturer Yevheniia Manko with the participation of cadet Kyrylo Yeremenko - conducted an introductory tour of the branch for the students of Sumy Secondary School No. 19 of Sumy City Council. The director and teachers of the secondary school No. 19 also visited the higher education institution.

Curators Liudmyla Parfentii and Oleksii Shumilo together with Anna Kramar, a social specialist of the Youth Friendly Clinic of Sumy City Council, held an educational event for applicants for higher education of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, who are studying in the specialties "Law" and "Law Enforcement"

In cooperation with the leadership of Sumy Secondary School No. 27, Olena Lukianykhina, Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, held an online career guidance conversation with 11th grade students on the topic "Quality Legal Education - the Path to Financial Independence".
