The student-cadet parliament of Sumy branch of KhNUIA held a sports event "Happy starts" among first-year students. The participants demonstrated not only physical abilities, but also important personal qualities - leadership, the ability to be united and overcome obstacles.

During an excursion to Sumy City Gallery, students together with the curator of the group Olena Lukianykhina and the leading specialist of the HR Department of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Hanna Mititel visited the exhibition of local artist Larysa Apollonova.

Hanna Dovhopolova, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities at Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, completed the online course ‘Academic Integrity: An Online Course for Teachers’ from the American Councils for International Education. The participants got acquainted with the theoretical foundations and effective tools of academic integrity.

Students together with Natalia Zlenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities, attended a lecture on Digital Leadership and Innovation: How Artificial Intelligence Changes the Public Sector and Society.

Higher education applicants of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities Nataliia Zlenko took part online in the All-Ukrainian Scientific and Practical Forum ‘Legal Challenges under Martial Law’. The event was supported by the Council of Young Lawyers of Ukraine and other state and public organisations.

Tetiana Ponomarenko, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, was trained at the practice-oriented webinar ‘Resources for ensuring diversity and interest in the educational process of the NUS: JustClass and Canva with AI tools’.

Associate Professors of the Department of Humanities Tetiana Ponomarenko and Nataliia Zlenko, together with 1st year students majoring in Law Enforcement, attended an online lecture by Doctor of Philosophy, Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Nazip Khamitov on ‘Science and Culture in the Age of Social Networks’

Ihor Tkachov, Head of the Trace Research Sector of the Criminalistics Research Department of Sumy Scientific Research Forensic Centre of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, conducted an online class for third-year cadets of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the topic of ‘Criminalistics Traceology’.

The first-year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who are studying Law Enforcement, Ilia Tepliakov, Diana Kurako, Ihor Shulha, Anna Rozhenko and Anna Kravchenko, joined the volunteer work for the first time. They helped the volunteers of the ‘WE ARE HERE - Northern Outpost’ charity foundation to make camouflage nets for the military.
