The Department of Social and Humanitarian Work, together with the primary trade union organization of KhNUIA, organized an extremely rich educational excursion to the National Natural Park "Podilski Tovtry" for higher education students who are most in need of parental support and care.

A binary lesson on the discipline "Accounting" for 2nd year students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA was conducted remotely by the associate professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines Liudmyla PARFENTII together with the accountant of Sumy Palace of Children and Youth, Olha TKACHENKO.

The students of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, taking into account the security component, honored the memory of the fallen Ukrainian children with a minute of silence and put flowers at the memorial signs that immortalize the heroic resistance of Ukrainians and the memory of all victims of the war

Second-year students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, Hlib KURDES and Vitalii KYIKOV, studying Law, took part in the training "Shooting 1.0: Basics of Weapon Handling", organized by the Civilian Readiness Center with the support of the "Rhyme. We Sow Good" Charity Foundation.

In order to form in future law enforcement officers a deeper understanding of the issues of sexual violence in wartime and the specifics of responding to such cases, associate professors of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA Yuliia SAMOILOVA and Hanna DOVHOPOLOVA remotely held a round table for first-year cadets.

Head of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, Candidate of Law, Professor Oleksii SHUMILO successfully completed the international online course "Toxic Plastic Pollution: Health, Environment, Legislation", organized by the international initiative HEJSupport.

As part of the study of the discipline "Legal Psychology", Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA Nadiia DEMYDENKO conducted an online lesson on the topic "Psychological Assistance from the Consequences of War" for 2nd-year students studying in the specialty "Law".

Clinician candidates, accompanied by the Head of the Legal Clinic of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, senior lecturer of the Department of Legal Disciplines Oksana SITALO, together with senior lecturer Serhii LUKIANENKO and Head of the Department of Legal Disciplines Oleksii SHUMILO, visited the State Institutions “Sumy Detention Center” and “Sumy Correctional Colony No. 116”. 

An information and educational event “Ukraine – NATO: Euro-Atlantic Path of Victory” was held for higher education students of Sumy branch. It was conducted by the group curators – Professor of the Department of Humanities Yulia SAMOILOVA and Associate Professors of the same department Nadia DEMYDENKO and Tetiana PONOMARENKO.

The Hungarian city of Szigetszentmiklós hosted the European Sumo Championship among youth (under 21 and under 23 years old) and adults. 370 athletes from 17 countries took part in the competitions. Among them are students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Kirill KRUPSKYI and Dmytro KOTOV, who train at the city's children's and youth sports school "Kolos".
