At the initiative of Yulia Samoilova, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, Daria Kuhuienko, a 2nd year student majoring in Law Enforcement, took part in the course "United Ukraine: Formation of National Identity", which was held with the aim of forming the Ukrainian national identity, increasing the level of knowledge about the history of the struggle for Ukraine's independence.

Volunteer cadets from Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs visit the Motorized Beehive volunteer center almost every day to weave camouflage nets. Together with the center's volunteers, they have woven more than 20 winter nets in a month

Nadiia Demydenko, Professor of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, organized and conducted a practical lesson in the State Archives of Sumy Region (SASR) for 1st year students majoring in Law as part of the course "Introduction to Legal Studies".

ELSASumy participants - 1st and 2nd year students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, who are studying in the specialties "Law" and "Law Enforcement", organized and conducted legal debates. Each of the teams, consisting of students and cadets, proved their position by presenting arguments and finding answers in the study of political, legal and organizational mechanisms for overcoming corruption that successfully operate in other countries.

Olena Lukianykhina, Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, conducted career guidance work among 11th grade students of Sumy Secondary School No. 27. The event was held due to the cooperation of the branch with the school management and the common desire to orient young people to choose a profession and obtain a quality legal education.

Olena Lukianykhina, Head of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor, took part in a training organized by the NGO Wikimedia Ukraine and the National Democratic Institute (NDI) with the support of Sweden and the United Kingdom.

Oksana Chernenko, a lecturer of the Department of Legal Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, and Valerii Kudriavtsev, a leading specialist, with the participation of cadets Mykyta Dizhevskyi and Yevheniia Sereda, met with high school students of Sumy Specialized School No. 7 named after M. Savchenko as part of career guidance.

On the occasion of the Day of Honoring Pensioners and Veterans of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the National Police of Ukraine, the Head of the Main Department of the National Police of Ukraine in Sumy Region Petro Tokar, pensioners and veterans of the National Police, met with cadets of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA.
