Academic staff of Sumy branch of KhNUIA continue to improve their professional skills by deepening their knowledge of new vectors of modern education, the latest approaches to teaching, the choice of teaching methods and the process of organizing the educational process.

Valentyna Vasylenko, Head of the Department of Humanities of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, and associate professors of the Department Yuliia Samoilova and Hanna Dovhopolova took part in a specialized webinar on "Criteria and Procedure for Selecting Materials for the Web of Science Core Collection" by Clarivate.

The academic staff of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs continues to study the processes of European integration in Ukraine by participating in educational projects.
Svitlana Vyhaniailo, Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines, took part in the training project "Active Youth - the Driver of Community Development".

Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has a volunteer landing party that actively helps to weave camouflage nets for our military. In close cooperation with the Motorized Beehive volunteer movement in Sumy, the university cadets wove almost 40 camouflage nets during the 2022/2023 academic year.

On the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine, the creative teams of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and its structural subdivisions - Sumy Branch and Kremenchuk Flight College - prepared a video greeting. On the occasion of the 27th anniversary of the Constitution of Ukraine, second-year cadets of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs together with the leaders of the city, region, the public and the military put flowers at the memorial to the fallen defenders of Ukraine.

The children of the employees of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs and its structural subdivisions - Sumy branch, Kremenchuk Flight College, as well as pupils of sponsored educational institutions of Vinnytsia and Khmelnytskyi regions - were treated to the event "Big Rights of a Little Child" organized by the Social and Humanitarian Work Department on the occasion of the Constitution Day of Ukraine.

The Scientific Library of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs has prepared a virtual exhibition "The Constitution is the main guardian of Ukraine's statehood" with infographics based on its own collections

Representatives of the student-cadet Parliament of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs took part in the School of Student Self-Government Bodies organized by the Youth Policy Department of Sumy City Council.

Svitlana Petrovska, Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, and Ilona Nikolenko, 4th year student, took part in the International Scientific and Practical Conference "Gender Policy under Martial Law: Legal Dimension", which was held at the Research Institute of Public Law with the assistance of Kateryna Levchenko, Government Commissioner for Gender Policy.
