As part of the global campaign "16 days against violence", cadets of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Vlada Shkurko, Mariana Moiseienko, Daryna Verbytska and Daria Kolosnikova, took part in the three-day training "Aware and Protected", which was held under the slogan "Women - it's wonderful" from the "League of Modern Women" public organization.
For first-year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Oleksii Shumilo, Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines held a binary class on the academic discipline "Judicial and Law Enforcement Bodies of Ukraine" on the topic "Judicial System of Ukraine" together with Supreme Court judge Vitali Zuiev, who studied and worked as a lecturer at KhNUIA.
With the aim of practical orientation of the educational process, associate professors of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines Hanna Dovhopolova and Yuliia Samoilova held a binary class on the discipline "Foreign language" for students of the 1st year of the specialty "Law enforcement" with the participation of a paramedic of emergency medicine of the Medical Center of Sumy Regional Center of Emergency Medical Assistance and of disaster medicine" by Oleksand Hamaha.
As part of the All-Ukrainian action "16 days against violence", associate professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA Liudmyla Parfentii and students of the 4th year of full-time study of the specialty "Law" Yevheniia Budiukova and Yevheniia Kovalenko visited Sumy Secondary School of I-III degrees No. 12 named after B. Berestovskyi.
As part of the study of the academic discipline "Management", the associate professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, Volodymyr Dementov, organized and held a binary lecture session with elements of the discussion on the topic "Communications in management" with the participation of the editor-in-chief of the "Civil Service" resource and the "Legal Practices" publication, expert on local self-government, civil service, anti-corruption and labor legislation Andrii Matsokin.
Under the leadership of the staff of the Investigative Department of Sumy Police Department of the MDNP in Sumy Oblast, with the participation of the teachers of the Department of Legal Disciplines, Viktor Kyselov and Valerii Matus, a practical session was held with 3rd-year cadets of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs on the topic "Actions of investigative and operative groups of the National Police on released from the occupation of the territories and documenting war crimes".
A binary class on the discipline "Introduction to legal research" for students of the 1st year of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, who are studying in the specialty "Law", was organized by the Professor of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines, Nadiia Demydenko, with the participation of Tetiana Holub, head of the regional literature and bibliography department of Sumy regional scientific library.
For first-year students of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines Oleksii Shumilo invited practicing lawyer Serhii Minenko to hold a binary class on the academic discipline "Judicial and Law Enforcement Bodies of Ukraine" on the topic "Organizations and Institutions of Justice".
The head of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of KhNUIA, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Olena Lukianykhina familiarized the students with the system of regulatory and legal support and the organizational structure of the civil defense system in Ukraine within the framework of the lecture topic "Organizational and legal mechanism of emergency prevention and elimination of their consequences" from the discipline "Life Safety".
Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs Svitlana Vyhaniailo, within the framework of the study of the discipline "Information support of professional activity", remotely conducted classes for first-year students studying the specialty "Law", with the participation of the judge of Zarichnyi District Court of Sumy Mykola Shershak.
