Today is a significant event for Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs - the graduation of specialists, officers who will serve in the National Police of Ukraine tomorrow, protecting public safety and order, the interests of the state, its integrity and sovereignty. This is the second graduation of cadets during the war.
A song in time of war has become a real weapon, a symbol of the indomitable spirit and courage of the Ukrainian people. It gives strength and energy, helps to cope with emotions and strengthens the morale of our defenders. The cadets of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs joined the flash mob "Give a Song to a Soldier".
Anna Dovhopolova, Associate Professor of the Department of Humanities of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, and Anna Reshitko, a lecturer of the same department, conducted a binary lesson for first-year students majoring in Law on the topic "Executive Bodies of Ukraine and Countries of the World".
An online meeting was held between Valerii Kudriavtsev, a leading specialist of Sumy branch of KhNUIA, and graduates of Sumy Professional College of Economics and Trade with the assistance of Oksana Demydenko, Acting Director of the College.
During the meeting, the future applicants were familiarized with the peculiarities of admission to Sumy branch of KhNUIA on the basis of the educational degree "Junior Bachelor", which the graduates will receive this year.
Svitlana Petrovska, Associate Professor of the Department of Socio-Economic Disciplines of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, organized a binary lesson on the discipline "Fundamentals of Occupational Safety" for fourth-year full-time students with the participation of Mykhailo Petrovskyi, Associate Professor of the Department of Electric Power Engineering of Sumy State University, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
Students and lecturers of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs once again had the opportunity to meet online and listen to a lecture by judges of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine on the topic "Activities and Powers of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine".
As part of optional classes in the discipline "Actions of the National Police Investigative and Operational Groups to Document Crimes Related to Armed Aggression Against Ukraine", 3rd year cadets of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs were trained at locations set up at the university.
Associate Professor of the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, Tetiana Bilous, completed the educational e-course "Resolve conflicts and build peace around me" from the NGO "LaStrada-Ukraine", the purpose of which is to increase the level of conflict-related competence of students, skills and abilities to resolve conflicts peacefully way, non-violent behavior and public position.
