Within the all-Ukrainian program of academic mobility between higher education institutions under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, cadets of Sumy branch of KhNUIA together with lecturers of the Department of Legal Disciplines arrived at Donetsk National University of Internal Affairs in Mariupol.

Since January 10 of this year, 97 second-year cadets of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs are undertaking an internship in practical units of the National Police of Ukraine. Our cadets are ready to come to the rescue at any moment. Thus, recently, students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA joined the search in order to find two girls. The other day, Police Officer Ihor Hradun saved a child.

As part of the career guidance work, Larysa Hartsunova, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Humanitarian Disciplines of Sumy Branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, held a meeting with the graduates of Educational Complex № 16 named after Oleksii Bratushka, Sumy city. 


Students of Sumy branch of KhNUIA monitored the court hearings

As part of the study of disciplines of the second master's level "Modern problems of civil law" and "Modern problems of civil procedure", which are lectured at Sumy branch of KhNUIA, by the Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines Nataliia Horobets and Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines Yana Sadykova, monitoring of court proceedings was organized. Students of master's degree visited Zarichnyi District Court of Sumy, filled out applications and prepared reports.

Traditionally, on January 22, our country celebrates the Day of Unity of Ukraine. This year marks the 103rd anniversary of the proclamation of the Act of Unification of the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic.


Act of Unity of Ukraine: a symbol of unity, victory and future

103 years ago, on January 22, 1919, a significant event in Ukrainian history took place – the Act of Unity of Ukraine. It had political, historical and psychological significance. Political, because the two republics, the Ukrainian People's Republic and the Western Ukrainian People's Republic, have merged into one state.


On the eve of the Day of Unity of Ukraine cadets and students of Sumy branch visited the local history museum

Applicants for higher education and curators of Sumy branch of KhNUIA visited the exposition "We are Ukrainians", which was prepared by Sumy Museum of Local History for the Day of Unity of Ukraine. Cadets and students heard the first anthem, which was played this day 103 years ago. They also got acquainted with a copy of the Act of Unification and heard the history of the battle for independence and indivisibility of the country in 1919.


In Shostka cadets of Sumy branch of KhNUIA together with police officers carried out career guidance conversations with high school students

High school students of the 11th grade of Shostka city visited Shostka District Police Department of the MDNP in Sumy Region, where they got acquainted with the work of its departments and sectors. The meeting with the graduates of the schools was joined by the 2nd year cadets of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, who are currently undertaking an internship in practical units of the National Police.

Cadets of Sumy branch of KhNUIA took part in the lecture "Stop Drugs"

2nd year cadets of Sumy branch of Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs, police officers Yevhen Trofymenko and Daria Hryshchenko together with the inspector of juvenile prevention of Lebedyn region Tetiana Krynytska gave lectures at Lebedyn Vocational Medical College named after M.I. Sitenko on measures to combat drug, psychotropic trafficking and precursors and their excessive use.
